One Minute Mile: July 28, 2020

This is an ongoing weekly feature in which I take one mile of running, squeeze it into one minute of video and add some music. Today’s clip is from a longer 6 mile recovery run, which goes through the endlessly same neighborhood streets of Country Knolls. It was crazy hot, I got a bit of a sunburn, but I jumped into a wonderfully cool pool immediately after. It was well worth the heat. Enjoy!

One Minute Mile: July 21, 2020

This is an ongoing weekly feature in which I take one mile of running, squeeze it into one minute of video and add some music. Today’s One Minute Mile is from a longer 6 mile recovery run, which starts along the edge of Washington Park, goes by the New York State Capitol building, through the Empire State Plaza and around the upper level of the New York State Museum.

One Minute Mile: July 14, 2020

I’ve been wanting to record my runs, races, anything, for a long time. I recently bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 3 gimbal to give me the ability to record smooth video while running. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of format works best for me. I’m not the greatest of talkers, so the vlog format is a bit hit or miss for me, but I’m going to keep trying until something sticks. Thus begins a new random feature on my blog, in which I take one mile of running and squeeze it into one minute of video.

Today’s clip is from a longer 6 mile recovery run which starts from the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Discovery Center and ends at the Truax Trail Barrens trailhead. Enjoy!
