I love adventure, I love reading, I love reading about adventure. Sometimes I think about how all the great explorations have occurred before my lifetime, but Colin O’Brady’s book, The Impossible First, is a great reminder that there are still things out there left to achieve. Great things that nobody has done before. This book is also a reminder that our challenges are not always a physical mountain to climb or a frigid Antarctica to cross, but these challenges are just as equally epic.

I think everyone should read this book for its historical significance of being the first unsupported crossing of Antarctica. But I also think there’s much more underneath about the pursuit of things that seem impossible, whatever that may be. While not a difficult read, The Impossible First is a great, quick read for anyone who needs a bit of inspiration.
